Southern Tanzania

Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park (about 3,230 km²) and one of the most accessible major safari destinations in the country. Located in the Morogoro Region in southern Tanzania, it lies roughly 280–300 km west of Dar es Salaam (a 4–5 hour drive on a paved highway that actually runs through the park).
